QPR Roadshop
The client
QPR is a division of Lafarge Building Materials, North America. Lafarge employs over 90,000 people in 76 countries around the world.
The challenge:
Due to a nationwide product launch, QPR required a dedicated website for “Roadshop”, to promote effectively ten of their core products. The client needed a fully dynamic site with a CMS (Content Management System) and a comprehensive-interactive map in Flash for the location of their reps in different North American territories. The big challenge was that the project had to be finished in only two weeks. It was also made clear to Channelship that the website had to be fully visible on search engines and beat their competitors´ look & feel and user experience.

The front-end was designed to enhance the products competitive advantages and the back-end (full Content Management System) was developed to provide complete freedom to the client to update any type of content themselves. It also allows for the creation of specific meta-tags and the rewriting of URLs with search engines in mind. Special features in the website include also an interactive map (in Flash) to locate representatives in North America and special territories. Non-technical users can create and fully manage different sales territories and assign representatives.
