Top 5 customer objections to SEO

Posted on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 by Fred

Hi all,

I was reading seoptimise’s blog and found a great post on “excuses from clients not to engage in SEO”. I instantly saw myself and the team dealing with those objections on a weekly basis and decided to relaunch that post through an interesting quick video.
I hope that companies really catch up on this subject and get more involved in the “online world”, unknown yet, to many businesses in order to make a difference in the near future. Thanks Stuart!

  • Yes - this just about everything that we hear from people. The lack of budget for the website redesign is common. It is understandable however if you are looking to embarq on a SMM campaign then the website needs to be aesthetically pleasing, functional and optimized as your SMM efforts are driving people to the site.

It is comforting in strange sort of way that other agencies get the same excuses.
  • Thanks for the comment Suzanne. I guess the website will always be important at the end of the day and even if they choose to go with SMM, then, the money they were going to invest in SEO will probably go to revamping the site (in line with the campaign or SM calls to action) or increase site usability to get better results...
